Forecastle Festival to Host Holiday Ticket Pre-Sale Starting Friday, December 14

 

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Forecastle Festival is spreading holiday cheer to festival goers with pre-sale priced tickets – including access to new festival perks – starting on Friday, December 14 at 10 a.m.

A limited allotment of General Admission, Yacht Club and VIP weekend passes will be available starting at $144.50 + fees via ForecastleFest.com. New this year, the pre-sale will include an enhanced layaway plan that offers ticket buyers the opportunity to purchase weekend passes for less than $38 down, with the remainder paid in installments.

Memberships to Forecastle’s acclaimed Kentucky Bourbon Trail outpost, The Forecastle Bourbon LodgeTM will also be available for purchase beginning December 14. New this year, pre-sale Bourbon LodgeTM membership buyers will receive an Urban Bourbon Trail Starter Kit including a copper flask, cocktail stirrer, and more. Additionally, all Bourbon LodgeTM members will receive exclusive discounts and offerings at select Urban Bourbon Trail locations in 2019. All VIP weekend pass purchasers will receive these benefits with their Bourbon LodgeTM membership as well!

Also new to 2019, pre-sale tickets buyers will have exclusive access to a limited run of crewneck Forecastle sweatshirts designed by local artist Robby Davis.

Embarking on its 17th year at sea, Forecastle will return in 2019 from July 12 to 14, at the award-winning Waterfront Park, situated on 85 acres of green space on the banks of the Ohio River in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. The full lineup and details on the 2019 experience will be shared in early 2019.

Last night Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats performed on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” for a second time this year. Watch/share the late night television debut of “Hey Mama”
The song appears on the band’s new album, Tearing at the Seams, released on Stax Records in March to widespread acclaim. “You Worry Me” spent eight straight weeks at #1 on Triple A radio, 16 consecutive weeks at #1 on Americana and appeared in the Top 5 at Alternative, while “A Little Honey” is the band’s second consecutive #1 single at Triple A radio. Tearing at the Seams was featured in NPR Music’s list of their “40 Favorite Albums Of 2018 (So Far)” while “You Worry Me” was included in World Café’s “Heavy Rotation: The Songs We’re Obsessed With Halfway Through 2018.”
The group kicked off the year with a performance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” followed by appearances on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” PBS’ “NewsHour” as well as the 100th episode of “NCIS: New Orleans.” Additionally, the band was nominated for “Duo/Group of the Year” at the 2018 Americana Awards.
After another wildly successful year of worldwide touring—including sold-out performances at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre, New York’s Apollo Theatre, two dates at Denver’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre as well as a headline show at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens—the group will play a New Year’s Eve show at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry and two annual holiday shows at Denver’s Ogden Theatre. My Morning Jacket Announces 2019 Summer Shows

Louisville rock band My Morning Jacket has announced their only 2019 summer shows at the Red Rocks and Forest Hills next August.

Ticket and VIP package pre-sales start tomorrow, December 4th at 10 am local venue time. Use code: POOCH for access to tickets and VIP packages. General public on sale begins at 10 am local this Friday, December 7th. These are the only shows in 2019, so make sure to get tickets early.

Jeff Tweedy Shares New Tune & 2019 Solo Tour Dates

Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy dropped the new song “I Know What It’s Like” from WARM his all-new material solo release out November 30 on dBpm Records. Watch the video below.

Tweedy will be hitting the road early next year with a four soldout night run in Los Angeles in January. The rest of the winter tour will run from February until March.
