Niko Moon Brings the Summer to a Feel-Good Close in Fishers
FISHERS, Ind. — A beautiful Saturday evening provided the perfect backdrop for Niko Moon’s Back to My Roots Tour, as Niko brought an upbeat night of music to the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater.
Presented by MOKB Presents and Fishers Parks, the show marked the final summer concert of the season at the Fishers venue. Blake Proehl opened the evening, setting the tone before Moon took the stage with his infectious blend of country, pop and Southern influences.
Moon’s set was built for a summer night, moving through songs including “Get Country,” “These Are the Days,” and “Good Time.” The singer-songwriter also mixed in a handful of crowd-friendly covers, including Dierks Bentley’s “Gone,” and Morgan Wallen’s “More Surprised Than Me” helped round out a set that kept the crowd engaged from beginning to end.
With the summer sun fading, a lively crowd singing along and Moon delivering a feel-good performance, the Back to My Roots Tour proved to be a fitting soundtrack for the final summer concert at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater.
