Southsounds Music Fest 2016 in Mobile, AL
SouthSounds Music & Arts Festival, the nation’s first festival dedicated to celebrating the most exciting music, art and food from the Southeast, is proud to announce the line-up for its 5th annual event, being held April 8-10, 2016 in downtown Mobile, Alabama

In addition, Lagniappe will present the New Southern Music Showcase and the Mobile Bay Music Showcase, exposing some of the hottest musical acts from the regional and local area to a panel of music industry power players and providers the winners a fantastic prize package.
Participating concert venues include Alchemy Tavern, The Blind Mule, The Brickyard, Callaghan’s Irish Social Club, Haley’s Bar, The Merry Widow O’Daly’s Irish Pub and the OK Bicycle Shop, as well as a festival stage in beautiful Cathedral Square.
Throughout SouthSounds weekend there will also be an array of visual arts activities presented by the Mobile Arts Council, including ArtWalk on April 8 and the launch of its fabulous new LoDa Squares sidewalk chalk art competition on April 9, as well as some great Southern food-related events.
Tickets are on-sale now, and are only $20 until April 1 for general admission passes that provide unlimited access to all participating venues. Tickets are available for purchase on the SouthSounds website (www.southsoundsfest.com) and at all participating venues.
Limited, exclusive VIP Southern Music Lover packages are also available on the SouthSounds website for $60 each (or $100 for a pair) until April 1. VIP packages provide access to VIP hospitality areas with food and beer, a 2016 festival T-shirt and a souvenir badge, as well as unlimited access to all participating venues and other special surprises to be announced.
The 5th Annual SouthSounds Music & Arts Festival is presented by Goose Island Brewery, with the support of 92 Zew, Lagniappe, Greenberg Traurig, Hargrove Engineers & Constructors, Downtown Mobile Alliance, Mobile Arts Council, Bienville Books, Hancock Bank, Wind Creek Casino, JESCO, Coastal Neurological Institute and Studio PH.
