Greensky Bluegrass in cavernous form

Photos/Words by Roger Patteson of Type 2 Photography

September 25th

The Caverns of Pehlham, TN has become one of the state’s hottest (a damp 72 degrees) concert venues in the country. The lineups continue to amaze and “sold out” continues to don social media and websites when referencing the acts they have booked.

Greensky Bluegrass recently did some digging of their own paying homage to the passing of Robert Hunter with “Brokedown Palace” and a string heavy nod to the cover song apropos “Cavern” by Phish. Shenanigans would ensue as Anders Beck (dobro) worked the crowd over with “Casual Wednesday”.
